The Hot Mama Photo Contest!

The Gist:

This is a photo contest open to all mamas in the Tucson, AZ OR Janesville-Madison, WI areas.  Contest is hosted on the Mina Michelle Photography & Flair Facebook page.  Mamas must submit their photo (1) to the contest to compete for votes.  The photo with the most votes, in the form of "Likes," at the end of the allotted time wins a FREE 1hour session with yours truly... Prized photo session can include family members (up to 5 people), just the kiddos or, of course, just mama!Winner will also receive a FREE "Sweet 16" CD of their hand picked and edited photos!

The Rules:

1. Photo entered may not have any other copyrights or trademarks.
2. Mamas must enter contest of their own accord (Gentlemen, no entering your ladies without their permission...)
3. Mamas must be fully clothed and not advertising any name brands, alcohol or tobacco products, or drug use... Let's keep it clean please. This IS, after all, a family production =)
4. Photos must first be submitted by message through Facebook and approved during entry time.  A notification will be sent if photo has been accepted or if an alternate is needed. Entry time is closed after Friday, February 17, 2012.  Pictures will be posted and open for votes/likes for one (1) week.  The contest winner will be announced shortly after.
5. Winning is very simple. Let your friends and family know to visit the Mina Michelle Photography & Flair Facebook page.  First "Like" the page and then "Like" your photo.  The mama's photo that accumulates the most "Likes" between February 18th-25th, 2012, wins the Hot Mama Photo Contest!
6. ***If a Tucson mama wins this contest, photo session must be scheduled between specific dates in late March 2012.  Please contact if you need more details.

Princess Isabella

Still learning to sit up on her own and she still knocked out pose after pose, this little girl was a natural in front of the camera! With her big blue eyes and adorable round features, Isabella could steal the heart of anyone! Taken at her own home, Isabella posed in numerous outfits, including her very 1st Halloween costume! It was BEE-autiful! 

We even captured some playtime with mama..

Congratulations to Luis & Julia on your wonderful baby girl! 

May she not give you too much trouble when she gets older =)

About to celebrate their 1st child's FIRST birthday, Nic, Rachel and Julianna met me at Agua Caliente Park in Tucson, Arizona. Their baby girl was absolutely adorable and loved the camera, she was just fine until we started putting ribbons and bows on her head when it was supPOSED to be dinner time! The nerve...

Don't grow up too fast, Amaya!

Taken at Lakeside Park in Tucson, Arizona, Amaya is a radiant, fun loving and adorable 2 year old girl who never ceases to amaze her mother. She loved observing the water in the lake and pointing out colors to her mama, even though every color was "black," haha!

She smiles whenever you say "Show me your teeth!"

And They Call Her Charlie

My most recent Newborn photo session was with Baby Charlie!  This bundle was just a doll!  With a head full of hair and her super girl strength, it was hard to believe that this petite little miss was ONLY 4 weeks old!

This Little Princess comes from a healthy stock of Hunters and Wisconsin Badger Fans.  She was a natural in her tutus and bows.... Dare I say, she is a true All American Girl on the rise!

As most Newborn sessions are, this shoot was held in the comfort of Charlie's own home!

Well, here we are!

I (Mina!) am a new resident in the "lovely with GREEN" Wisconsin, fresh out of the deserts of Tucson, Arizona...  And! I have 'offic-ially' created my OWN website and blog!  Honestly, I could not be happier or more proud of myself in this very moment, for I did not know I could be sooo computer savvy!  I hope all my old friends, new friends, strangers, lurkers and potential clients enjoy my posted escapades and work for all of you to see!  Thank you all for stopping by my page, have a beautiful day!

No Party Is A Party Without A Piñata!

I am currently planning maybe the BIGGEST birthday party of my career... My baby boy, Maxton's, 1st (!) BIRTHDAY bash! It has been such an honor and blessing watching this little one grow from no longer a baby, but an actual toddler!

Why is it that these babies grow and progress so much more in this first year than ANY other of their adolescence?  Seriously, they go from an entirely liquid diet, to solid food... Crawling, to walking... Hardly moving at all, to virtually running away from you!  And then here you are, one unsettlingly short year later, tearing up as you make your sweet baby a paper mache, elephant head piñata...

The theme is The Circus! And no not a cheesey red, yellow and blue, I belong in even the 80's clearance bins... But a classy white, red and gold palleted, no clowns allowed, kind of circus. Why? Because Maxton is a classy baby, that's why; who deserves a non-corny 1st (!) birthday party =)
Coming from Arizona, where we obviously have piñatas galore,  I thought... Pshhh, my son can't ring in his 'new' year without a piñata!  Because, "No party is a party without a piñata!"

Unfortunately, while on my ventures through town, I have yet to find the appropriate heap of glued news&tissue paper for my kiddo's 'Classy Circus Birthday Party.'  Now for the number 1 rule for how I operate... First seek.  If the world fails to impress you, impress yourself, OR hire MEEE =) ... Now I am putting my 4th grade art project skills to darn good use as I set out to create a 'classy' elephant head piñata, utilizing 1 balloon. (*Sigh...*) The things I get myself into.
